Our lists are used by a large number of individuals and institutions

for investors.
What
do I get when I
purchase a list?

funds and deletions of funds that have closed their doors as well as

Instant Download?Ans:
When you complete your purchase you will immediately be given the
opportunity to download your list(s). You can also sign in later and
download your list (within 7 days). The download will typically take
less than a minute. Simply use any spreadsheet program to open the
files and you can be searching and contacting the hedge funds (and
their executives) that you are interested in.
Ans:
At first glance, price is the most obvious differentiator between
HedgeLists.com and other hedge fund information providers, as our lists
are a fraction of the price of comparable lists. However, the

Is
there overlap between any of your lists? I am thinking of purchasing
more than one.Ans:
Yes. There is some overlap between lists. For example, a convertible
arbitrage hedge fund based in London would be included in the UK Hedge
Fund List, the Europe Hedge Fund List, and the Convertible Arbitrage
Hedge Fund List. But don't worry, in most cases overlap is minimal.
Within categories (coutnry, region, or strategy), there is virtually no
overlap. If you find there is substantial overlap between lists you
have purchased, please let us know and we will gladly return a portion
of your purchase.
How
many hedge funds do your lists cover?Ans:
Our lists cover the vast majority of all hedge fund companies operating
across the globe. The specific number of hedge funds varies by list,
but it should be noted that other list providers may claim to have more
listings, but these lists are often full of duplicates ( where each
individual fund, even closed ones, within a company, are listed
separately with the same information). The number of listings as
described on the individual list pages represents the number of hedge
fund companies (many of which operate numerous individual hedge funds).
We feel this is a vastly superior and forthright way to describe the
breadth of a list or database.
How
do I purchase a list?Ans:
Simply go to the page for the list you are interested in and click the
"add to cart" button at the button of the page. Fill in your sign-up
and payment information, confirm your order, and you will immediately
be directed to a download link for the list(s) you purchased. The
entire process takes less than three minutes.
Do I
need to be a qualified or accredited investor to buy your lists?Ans:
No. In fact, our lists are designed for virtually everyone except
individual investors. Because we do not detail specific performance
information, lists are available to all interested parties (though
non-us residents should consult their local laws).
How
do I use the list once I have purchased it?Ans:
Once you have purchased a list you are free to do with it as you please
(within our Terms of Service of course). You can open the provided
files (.csv and .xls) with virtually any spreadsheet program including
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, OpenOffice, Google Docs and more.
Pre-formatted tables make it easy to search and sort the information.
You can even upload your list to contact management programs like
Microsoft Outlook in just seconds.
I am
having trouble checking out.Ans:
We accept all major credit cards (American Express, Discover,
MasterCard, and Visa). as well as PayPal. If you are using one of these
methods and are still having difficulty please contact us.
Will
I be billed for
updates?
Ans:
No. 12 months of updates are included absolutely free with your
purchase. At the end of the 12 months you will stop receiving updates,
but you will never be billed again after your initial purchase and we
will never share or sell your information.
